I stopped at techniglass on my way home & damon checked it out & said there was no sign of a rock chip, it was a stress crack and it should be covered under factory warranty & that he has seen it a lot on Cx-5's. It started right where the black plastic housing is for the tech pkg sensors behind the mirror.
